Sexual Problems help in East Sussex - Psychosexual TherapyIn addition to my four years of Transactional Analysis psychotherapy training I have additionally undertaken two years of advanced specialist training in psychosexual therapy.I have worked for a number of years with both individuals and couples, regardless of sexual orientation. I can help you with the sexual difficulties that you are having, which might include: Confusion about your sexual identity. Difficulties achieving or maintaining an erection, premature ejaculation or difficulties achieving orgasm. You may be experiencing pain or having difficulty with intercourse. Perhaps you have had surgery and are experiencing difficulty with sexual recovery from that. You may have become aware of a lack of sexual desire or are feeling disappointed with your sex life. You may have different expectations to your partner about sex. Damage to your relationship from an affair. Difficulties with sex because of earlier sexual abuse or rape. Concern about the use of porn or internet porn, sex workers or massage parlours. Within established relationships many sexual problems may be apparent in one partner but affect the couple as a whole. In this situation it is my preference to work with both partners and the impact of the issue within the relationship. I will encourage individuals and couples to explore their feelings and thoughts, and may invite people to do exercises at home between sessions. I am an accredited member of the BACP (British Association for Couselling and Psychotherapy). |
